Research Interests
My research focuses on the development and use of state-of-the-art experimental systems to study the processes controlling the chemical composition of the Earth's atmosphere.
Current research activities include:
Development of a Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) system for measurements of NO2, peroxy nitrates, alkyl nitrates and HNO3. The LIF system has been used in ground-based campaigns, and in summer 2010 was also installed on the British FAAM BAe 146 research aircraft, for airborne campaigns.
High altitude site observations of the atmospheric chemical composition.
Detailed chemical box model and statistical regression model to study the atmospheric composition changes.
